Our Millionaire Idea Basics: Accountability

Who is responsible for completing a execution plan as promised?

It's the Millionaire Idea ad submitter’s responsibility to complete their execution plans. Our Millionaire Idea is not involved in the development of the Millionaire Idea ads. Our Millionaire Idea does not guarantee execution plans or investigate a Millionaire Idea ads ability to complete their execution plan objectives. On Our Millionaire Idea, voters (you!) ultimately decide the validity and worthiness of a Millionaire Idea ad by whether the business or idea wins the election.

How do Voters know if a Millionaire Idea will follow through?

Launching an Our Millionaire Idea is a very public act, and business owners and individuals put their reputations at risk when they do. Voters should look for Millionaire Idea ads who share a clear proposal for how their execution plan will be completed, and who have a good business history of bringing their idea and ventures into fruition. Millionaire Idea ad submitters are encouraged to share links and as much background information as possible so Voters can make informed decisions about the projects they support. If a ad has not demonstrated experience or doesn't share key information, Voters should consider that. Does the Millionaire Idea ad include links to any websites that show work related to the execution plan, or past business or experience? Does the Millionaire Idea appear in the video? Have they connected via Facebook? Don't hesitate to request information from a Millionaire Idea ad submitter(s). You can always reach out before voting via the "Contact me" button on the ad page.

How do I know a Millionaire Idea ad submitter is who they say they are?

Perhaps you are friends with the Millionaire Idea ad submitter, or you heard about the business or idea from a trusted source. Looking for more information? Read through the description and watch the video to get a better sense of the person or team behind the execution plan. In the ad description section of each Millionaire Idea ad, you can find additional resources, like links to websites, relevant background information, and in some cases, a connected Facebook account.

What should Millionaire Idea ad winners do if they're having problems completing their execution plan?

If problems come up, Millionaire Idea ad winners are expected to post a execution plan update explaining the situation. Explain everything that’s going on, even the worse details is essential for displaying transparency. Most participants support Millionaire Ideas because they want to see something happen and they'd like to be a part of it. Millionaire Idea ad winners who are honest and clear will usually find participants who are understanding and are still willing to support you.

It's not uncommon for plans to take longer than expected. Sometimes the execution of the plan or idea proves more difficult than the Millionaire Idea winner had anticipated. If a Millionaire Idea ad submitter is making a good faith effort to complete their execution plan and is transparent about it, supporters should do their best to be patient and understanding.

What is a Millionaire Idea winner’s obligation to do once their execution plan is funded?

When a Millionaire Idea is successfully funded, the Millionaire Idea ad winner are responsible for completing the execution plan. Their fundamental obligation to Voters is to finish all the work that was promised. Once a Millionaire Idea ad winner has done so, they’ve fulfilled their obligation to their supporters.

At the same time, Voters must understand that Our Millionaire Idea is not a store. When you support a Millionaire Idea ad, you’re helping to bring a business or idea to life— not ordering a product. There’s a chance something could happen that prevents the Millionaire Idea ad submitter from being able to finish the execution plan as promised.

Can Our Millionaire Idea refund the money for votes or OMIs if a Millionaire Idea ad plan is not executed?

No, Our Millionaire Idea doesn't issue refunds.

Why can't Our Millionaire Idea guarantee Millionaire Idea ads?

We started Our Millionaire Idea as a advertisement platform for businesses or ideas to gain exposure, to possibly fund the next huge billion dollar business or idea and give the audience a chance to participate. Many traditional funding systems are risk-averse and profit-focused, and tons of great ideas never get a chance. Our Millionaire Idea opens the door to a world full of creative ideas, one where anyone can help decide which bright idea will become tomorrow's reality.

Our Millionaire Idea is full of ambitious, innovative, and imaginative ideas. Many of the Millionaire Idea ads you see on Our Millionaire Idea are in earlier stages of development and are looking for support and exposure to bring them to life. Our Millionaire Idea allows businesses and individuals to take risks and attempt to grow their ideas, while gaining great exposure, we see this as an economy stimulating opportunity.

What does Our Millionaire do to protect its participants?

We have a dedicated Integrity team that monitors the system for any unusual activity. This team screens questions and concerns from our participants, if they find something that does not align with Our Millionaire Idea Rules.
